Top-notch training utilizing movement patterns and an approach that will guarantee your body higher levels of strength, agility, muscular endurance, and cardiovascular fitness!. Stewart's approach is multi-disciplinary and unique when giving you every tool to reach your goal.

KINETIC MOVEMENT SYSTEMS was founded on the belief that exercise and nutrition are actually "invasive". Every load we put on our body, every nutrient (or unhealthy food) we put in our bodies will produce internal factors, some of which are good, and of course, those which are bad.

KINETIC FIT CAMPS coaches the client how to determine if a load is inappropriately placed on the body and how to correct it to eliminate the injury cycle through life. The focus of training revolves around ten important concepts:

  1. Type of muscle contraction
  2. Neuromuscular development
  3. Range of motion
  4. Velocity of movement
  5. Force of contraction
  6. Muscle fiber type
  7. Metabolic specificity
  8. Biomechanical adaptation
  9. Type of flexibility

Location: Various places downtown, every week is a different place
Equipment: Med balls, free weights, tubing/bands, speed ladders, cones, jump ropes, kettle bells, stability equipment, and your body weight, the best thing!

COMPONENTS MEASURED AND TRAINED:

  • Body Fat and weight
  • Strength, stamina, and cardio-respiratory levels
  • Push Patterns- through various pushup and push positions
  • Pull Patterns-through various pulling and hanging movements
  • Core Stamina and Stabilization-through a multi-disciplinary and intrinsic (deep) recruitment of those vital fibers that keep us injury free
  • Level Changes and Rotational Movements-Squatting, lunging in all planes of motion, reaching, stepping, directing the body in many different ways, within a controlled setting
  • Balance, agility, and stamina-The factors that keep us young in body and mind!
